Here’s my hypothesis: Each of us are capable of making a list of what we’re learning in our lives as well. I just happen to write them down and publish them to the World Wide Web for all to see. 12. I’m learning what it means to Trust… Really trust. Dr. Richard
Powell, who is the pastor of MacGregor Baptist Church here in Fort Myers, FL
(& an amazing leader, pastor & guy) told me recently over lunch that, “I
would have to learn to completely turn my back on entire areas of NLC. That
would be when I could know that I’ve completely given away ministry to
others.” I have definitely adopted that phrase, “turn my back” recently.
That takes trust. And man, it’s hard sometimes.
13. I’m learning Jealousy can hit you quick. I’m amazed at how quickly I
can drift toward jealousy or comparison in my life. I see another guy’s
book, or hear of something another guy is doing in a church somewhere, and I
immediately rush to judgment. I hate that about myself. That’s the kind of
stuff you have to crucify on the cross ya know.
15. I’m learning about sins of Commission & sins of Omission. This isn’t
new information for me, but I was recently refreshed to the categories.
Sins of Commission are those things we do that don’t please God. Sins of
Ommission are those things we DON’T do, that consequently cause us to miss
out on God’s best for our lives.
Where are we guilty of a sin of “Omission” in our life? Where are we hesitating to take a step of faith, instead of pushing through and just trusting God.

Wow you look a lot like Matthew Perry! I’m sure people all over have told you this, but man! The resemblance is stunning. From you short cropped dark hair to your lively eyes to your confident, half-cocked grin. Undeniable!
As a thought, if you ARE Matthew Perry, AWESOME! I will let everyone in my blogosphere know that I found Matthew Perry’s blog and he writes some profound stuff!
Keep learning and eventually maybe you’ll know it all? No, sorry. I shouldn’t have said that. Look at how much wikipedia knows and there is still a long way to go. Anyway!

I just learned who matthew perry is, and WOW you two do look a lot alike.
I’ve been learning about Grace lately. We’ve all (probably) heard that Grace is God’s Righteousness at Christ’s Expense. Which I never really thought meant anything but was a great acronym. I’ve learned how Grace relates to the fact that when God looks at us, He sees Jesus; and when we look at others, we should see Jesus. That GRACE is actually imputing to the accounts of others the actions of Jesus, and treating them accordingly.
Oh, and that God does the same for us. (LOL like that was an afterthought or something.) Anyway, now Grace really means something to me, and that’s cool.
